Paperback - Souvenir of Redcliffe and Districts, By Duane Hart

A remastered and republished 1932 Redcliffe Tourist Guide from Queensland Australia. It was originally produced in 1932 and this book has been remastered from the only 2 copies known to be still in existence today. Featuring original rarely seen panoramic photos of the area, some of the more iconic images have been accurately colourised by local artist Duane Hart.

The book was written at a time before the Hornibrook Bridge connected Humpybong/Redcliffe to the mainland, when the Koopa ferried passengers to the Redcliffe Jetty in large numbers on day trips from Brisbane and many of the original 1880 original European settlers still lived on the Peninsular.
Advertisements also show many of the local family run businesses of the time featuring 2 digit phone numbers and very descriptive wording to describe their wares.
